torn trans mount bushing
when i was changing my TV cable, i goofed, and i undid the 4 15mm bolts that hold in the tranny x-member before i removed the bolt that holds the bushing to the x-member.
needless to say, the weight of the x-member tore the bushing at the edges.
basically, the very edges where the bushing glued in stayed attached to the bracked, and the rest came out in one chunk.
i pushed it back in really well and it can almost hold its own weight from the friction, so i am just wondering if its ok to drive around like this for a while, because i dont have the cash to fix this ATM. i wont be doing any burnouts or hard launching anyway, so i think it will be OK, but if not, and i will surely die in fire let me know

Re: torn trans mount bushing
No offense, but if the weight of the crossmember pulled the transmission mount apart, it was already junk. They take a lot of heat in these cars because of the torque arm suspension. Replace it with an Energy Suspension polyurethane mount and it'll last forever.
