I searched and could not find a lagit answer...so i traded for a bnm megashifter...today i was messing around with it and noticed when i put it all the way down to first gear it had alot of play like it moves up and down still?? Is this normal or is the shifter messed up when i ratchet it all the way up to first gear it does the same thing it does not feel right so i wanted to see if anybody knows if this is normal on not?

 

how old is the shifter? Megashifters are known for getting slop in them after some time.

 

Mine is pretty sloppy as well, it drives me nuts.

 

I got rid of mine and it was brand new.. Not a big fan. Cables got to be ran just right or it'll wear out fast and you can't get your car in gear (that was fun). Good luck.

 

well im getting it installed..i was just playing with it its pretty old it still gets all the gears and stuff...its just when its in low gear it will go back some....and when its in 1st gear it will move up some...is that normal..it almost feels like it wants to lock again but its already in low gear...
