700R4 to 283. What flex plate?

Hi guys, chewed up teeth on flex plate in my '53 Chevy street rod. Would a late model flex plate from a 700R car fit on the 283? I'd like to have the right one before I tear it apart. Thanks

The 283 was internally balanced. So you need a flex plate with "no weights" welded to it. There might be a "minor" weight for balancing it on center, but not the large weights for the externally balanced motors.
