Re: 10 bolt upgrades

Install a 28 spline Eaton Posi, get a set of 28 spline axles, install a T/A Performance aluminum cover and don't use sticky tires. Be easy on it and it might live.

What do you think about a soild style crush sleeve instead of the regular ones that come with the rebuild kits ?

Here are two good links.

http://www.ws6transam.org/10bolt.html

https://www.thirdgen.org/beefinguprear

If you believe guy in first link, you can upgrade rear to withstand around 400 hp. For all of the suggested upgrades you will probably spend around $1,100. An aftermarket axle that bolts in and would handle any power will be around $2,500 just to give you an idea.
