My '90 Iroc 5.7 automatic has had a problem for a while of stalling or almost stalling when given slight gas from a dead stop. It revs down for a second before it revs back up and drives fine.

Now when push the gas there are vibrations around 2-3k rpm that feel like driving on a dirt road and it seems to hold the same speed while "accelerating" in the range before it picks back up over 3k. It does not however show any of these symptoms upon normal operation.

I just want to know if these symptoms could be related and what i could possibly about it.

 

ever figure out what was wrong, im having the same problems
