Estimate on gear install

Any body have an idea of a gear install price? I am going to 373 and need to get some money ready. If no price estimate any idea on how long a pro would take to do it?

Shot in the dark...A$300 to $500 + parts depending on the going rate in your area. A gear change is NOT cheap for limited results on a street car.

I actually know a guy that will set them up for $100 in his spare time. Thats purely labor of course.

$300 is about average. Do you already have the parts?

Yea, I got parts. A guy around here is going to do it for $300. He is supposedly "the man" with gear installs, or so the guys at the track said so. Does it really take that long to put them in? Quoted me about 4 hours labor

Re: Estimate on gear install

4 hours would be pretty quick. There is a lot of labor that goes into putting these together right.
