Bellhousing with t-56
I currently have a lt1 t-56 with the ls1 input shaft and adapter plate to bolt up to my stock t-5 bell housing. The trans is sitting on spohns retrofit xmember with attached torque arm mount. This set up works great, but the bell housing narrows down and the adapter plate sticks out way below it. Now im getting ready to swap in a bigger motor and tired of the adapter plate hangin way lower than the rear of the bell housing (it just looks weird). Has anyone seen a bell housing that can bolt an lt1 t-56 to a 350 block using a push style clutch? I would just switch over to the lt1 pull style clutch and use and lt1 bell housing, but that would require a new xmember since the trans would sit further forward in the car. And I already have a new push style clutch/pressure plate/and flywheel for the new engine.
