4th gen 12 bolt

found an excellent deal on an 02 camaro roller. just wondering if any one has had any fittiment issues with the 4th gen 12 bolts. i know the stock 4th gen bolt right up, and im assuming the 4th gen 12 bolt would aswell. has anyone done this swap?

Re: 4th gen 12 bolt

4th gen cars didn't have a 12 bolt from factory, so if it is a 12 bolt rear, then it's already been modified to fit that 4th gen car, and thus it should bolt up to your 3rd gen with no issues other than the usual 4th gen rear swap issues (longer axles, e-brake cables).

Re: 4th gen 12 bolt

well that what i meant its an aftermarket moser 12 bolt for a 4th gen. But its a no go anyhow, the guy just swapped moser axels into the 12 bolt and spent like $1200 rebuilding the stock rear.

Re: 4th gen 12 bolt

it will fit just like a stock 4th gen rear would its just wider. All the pickup points are the same. Depending on what brakes its setup for, you may have to change afew things around.

if the price is good, go for it
