I just read the whole thing, and I have to say nice work! Just like a true hotrodder, you made things work how you wanted, with parts that were available to you, all while saving some bucks here and there.
Is that 3in exhaust you will be running? It looks big. I think you are going to want to modify your crossmember slightly. Even with solid mounts, it looks to me that things are close enough that you are going to get some annoying rattles. On the crossmember, if you redid the driverside "upright" at more of an angle (top outward, bottom inward) it would do two things. 1, give you much more exhaust clearance by giving you room to move the pipe down a little. 2, it would be a little stronger than what you have now.
Also, what brake master is that you are running?

The exhaust is 2.5". I dont think the trans is going to move at all. There is a little more clearance than what it looks like in the pictures. I can tell you that I will deal with a rattle before modifying the crossmember. I would have to rebuild the whole thing. As far as the pipe hanging down more, I'm guessing you were reffering to the pic with the pipe hanging on its own in the recessed area. I fixed the spot that it was hanging up on when I final welded it so the pipe can go all the way up or anywhere inbetween now. I'll see what happens though. For the first little while I'm going to keep a close eye on chipping pain near welds. I think the welds are good though. I had my TIG welder on about 190 amps so I have good penetration.
The brake master is a 4th gen master I believe off a 98+ Fbody. I just think it looks nicer than the big 3rd gen ones.
