linkage clutch question

Alright, I think I know the answer to this question but before I go tearing this thing back apart I need to ask. Start the car, clutch depressed, can't get it all the way into gear (lets say 1st), tires begin to turn anyway (car is in the air). The linkage is adjusted as far back as it can go and then some... What did I do wrong when I installed the system? How do I fix it? Mind you, everything and I mean everything is new.

Re: linkage clutch question

So I ended up figuring it out. Basically what I ended up doing was adjusting the pivot ball to 4.5 instead of the 4.75 and then I bought a 10 inch 3/8-16 bolt from lowes and cut the head off about 1/2 inch down the shaft, then rounded the cut end. The stock actuator rod wasn't long enough at 9 inches. This seems to be an issue for some of the guys using centerforce clutches

this is the post I found that actually helped my issue
