Servo ?????
Is there any way that changing the Servo to a Corvette unit would change the shift points at WOT???In other words what did we do wrong?? This was the only change made, and the car does not want to shift now until extremely hi RPM's....Thanks, Tom
Re: Servo ?????
I wouldn't think the servo change would affect the rpm of the shifts at all. Provided you didn't do anything to the TV cable setting when you changed the servo, I'm gonna guess you managed to get some debris stuck in the valve that's in the middle of the governor assembly. I just had the same problem with my trans, and it turned out that it had some crap stuck in the governor. You might've knocked some debris loose in the trans when you did the servo install. A stuck or defective governor will definitely cause it to shift at a crazy rpm.
