Ive only put maybe 150 miles on the car since the t56 swap. Everything was fine until a few days ago. We were tuning the car on an old highway. We were doing the old adjust and drive thing. Well we hit it right on and the car ran like a raped ape. Front tires came off the ground by about an inch and it didnt stop pulling. Safety bacame an issue so we let off. Well now i hear a banging noise from the tranny bellhousing. When you push the clutch in, it will completely stop. So im pretty sure its the throw out bearing.
Every vehicle ive ever had, has a had a bad throwout bearing.. heres a few.. 2006 cobalt, 1986 supra, 1999 diesel f250, 89 mustang. All had bad throwout bearings. Why do they go bad so fast? And is there a better solution? I just bought a cheapo autozone clutch kit because i got a nice discount and just needed something to get by. Ill defintely be upgrading soon. Is there any advice for this? Thanks!
