Cost of 3/4 synchro
Whats the cost to replace synchros for 3rd and 4th gear at the average trans shop? Thanks

I would just call shops in your area. Price can vary greatly depending on what the shop wants to charge.

Yeah I have a couple I im going to call. Just didnt know if I was looking more at the couple hundred dollar range or upwards of 500 with labor.

I know that most of the places around me want $400 to pull the trans and take it apart to see whats wrong. But then your left with just a big pile of parts on the table. Thats what they said when I had an auto in my old firebird that went out. Dont know if a stick would be different. I know at my work (Ford dealership) the bill would be over $500.
