I want to make my 350 a manual...
I have an 89 iroc 350 and have had enough of the automatic i miss banging through gears, so 5spd or 6spd? How much money am I looking at? Is it simple enough to do on my own? Any help is greatly appreciated

I completed my swap for a little over $1,000 and thats without buying "cheap" parts. 5 or 6 speed is up to you.

If you plan on heavy - you need the 6 speed - like mentioned about $2k for a swap on a 6 speed.

Both of the 5 speeds swap I've done have been under $500. Just start looking for a cracked up or blown motor 5 speed car. Steal the parts for the swap off of it and sell/junk the rest of the car.

I went with a World Class T5 but will be soon upgrading to a tko 600.
