Can you convert a GTA 5.7L to Manual transmission

Hi i was just wondering if you can change an 89 gta 5.7L automatic to manual.

If you can, are there any complications?

I heard that there is too much torque for manual transmission and that's why they only made 4 speed auto.

Yes you can. Depending on what tranny you are going to use you will need a different torque arm mount (t5 is different from auto) or a tranny mount w/ torque arm mount (any other manual tranny without tq arm mount)

Pedals need to be swapped, firewall drilled for clutch master, reverse lights hooked up to tranny and park neutral switch wired to a clutch switch for starting.

Do some searching there are many threads here covering such conversions.
