Re: driveshaft loop...?

Mine was $30 shipped off brand off eBay. Little hesitate to get it but it was 1/4" steel or so all one piece nice welds and fit floor contours great.

Re: driveshaft loop...?

Lakewood makes a third gen specific loop designed to fit the contours of the third gen floor. To install it, you need to pull out the seats and carpet to drill through the floor and install the mounting bolts.

The other option is to buy an aftermarket torque arm. They come with a driveshaft loop installed on the new tranny crossmember.

The new torque arm costs a lot more than just the simple driveshaft loop but it's also a lot easier to install and is much better for the car than the factory stamped steel torque arm.

Re: driveshaft loop...?

i use the lakewood one its easy once the rugs and seats are out and you only have to pull the rug half way back and it's cheap compared to the others that are mounted on the crossmembers unless your looking to upgrade that too
