Posi rear?
hey, i have a 1983 camaro berlinetta ( i think ) that has a posi rear end..idk the gears in it, but it does have drums brakes, how hard or expensive is it to switch over to discs in the back? the drums caused me to crash the car in the rain. front wheels took all the weight and slid me under a truck.

Re: Posi rear?
to see if it has a posi or not put your foot on the brake and press the gas until the tire(s) spin. if one spins you have a peg leg, if both spin you have a posi.
to switch over you can either swap out the whole rear end or buy one of the conversion kits.
though correct me if i'm wrong the front does about 70% of the braking. you could upgrade the fronts to the 1le braking.
