Engine: LNF 2.0L
Transmission: F35
Axle/Gears: LSD
T-56 Into a 87 Camaro???
Right now I have a 87 camaro 305 carb. with the 5-speed maunal tranny. Have decided to drop a 383 in... I know that the transmission I have now won't handle the torque of the 383.Was thinking of putting in the 6 speed t-56 from the fourth gens. Will the t-56 just fit right into my third gen or will I have to make modifications? Is it the best solution or does anyone recommend another tranny that is maual and will handle lots of torque?

The T56 is a strong trans. There are a bunch of threads on here of what it takes to put one in.
