Where to get a clutch fork?
Where to get a clutch fork?
Ok I've had a horrible time getting my T5 to shift. I've all ready had the trans out 3 times. Its out right now and it looks like my clutch fork is bent the throwout bearing won't slide down into the fork. Everytime I've taken the trans out the throwout bearing is laying in the bottom of the bellhousing. I've tried Summit, Jegs, and Advance auto. Does anybody know who sells these?
Thanks

McCleod sells a good one as well as a number of the other clutch companies... What caused this one to bend?
Re: Where to get a clutch fork?
To be honest I have no idea. When I bought it I drove it for 2000 miles it just made a throwout bearing noise and you couldn't shift it while spinning it just acted like the gear wasn't there. so we decided to put a clutch in it and while we had the trans out we decided to overhaul the motor since it all ready had 150,000 on it. It was me and a couple of my buddies doing it and we put the throwout in backwards as bad as I hate to say it. Then I dropped it, flipped it around, and then the pedal wouldn't go all the way to the floor and it wouldn't go in gear at all some days and some days it would. We dropped it today and found that place on it. I can put the bearing in from below the top of the fork I just can't get it in from the top and it won't slide down in the groove on the bearing. Maybe it being in wrong did it or it was like it before but honestly I don't see what could have done it.
