shifter advice
I just bought another camaro that has a 700r-4 with a manual valve body.
With the current shifter I keep missing gears (like jumping from first to third gear)
Does anyone know of a cheap shifter mod to make it harder to skip gears?
Has anyone ever seen a shifter that works like a manual with different positions for each gear but for an automatic?

Re: shifter advice
B&M has a direct bolt-in model for your console called Megashifter it is a very good model with a small flaw the lockin pin does come loose a dab of loc-tite will solve that! 180.00

Re: shifter advice
I should have mentioned I use the car for autocross and need fast shifts up and down.
I have a BandM shifter and I find the pin a pain.(works for drag racing well)
I'm trying to find a shifter that the gears aren't in a straight line like a manual shifter.
I was also thinking of a paddle shifter but they don't look cheap.

Re: shifter advice
You would probably like this shifter, if you can find one. I wouldn't mind getting one myself.

Re: shifter advice
The Megashifter ratches up and down, doesn't it? Why is the pin a pain? How often do you need to shift into reverse when you autocross?
