Re: manual to auto swap this weekend

You'll need the TH350 with the 9 in tailhousing, otherwise you'll need a different driveshaft.

You'll need the crossmember with the torque arm mount, or a tunnel mount for the torque arm.

You'll need an auto shifter and shifter cable, neutral safety switch, and you'll have to rewire your reverse lights, neutral safety, hatch release, etc.

You'll need a kickdown cable and the correct linkage for your carb setup.

I have no idea on the speedo.

That's what little bit I know about it from reading here. A will tell you more I'm sure.

i have the 9'' tail shaft, spohn torque arm and crossmember, shifter neutral safety switch, and the reverse light, and the trans in a maunal valve body so dont need a kick down, the speedo was cable so that will work fro the th350 but only thing i dont get why wire the rear hatch?

The rear hatch is wired through the neutral safety switch on an automatic F-Body so that you cannot accidently 'pop' the rear hatch while the car is in gear. I mean you don't have to do it, it's just one of the wires I remember being on the neutral safety switch in stock form.
