Upgrading to a 4L60E, start with yr. 1994 or 1995?

Upgrading to a 4L60E, start with yr. 1994 or 1995?

I have two low miles 4L60E transmissions to choose from to do the swap. Which is better from a performance point of view the 1994 non-PWM or the 1995 PWM?
The ECM / BIN doesn't matter to me. I have both year BINs for the 4L60E and can tune them.

I tore the yr 1995 down and the code for it is 1995 5.7L truck. The fluid is clean with no material on the magnet. The input drum is straight as can be where the band rides.

I figured while it is apart I might as well install the following:

BWarner Hi-E 2-4 band
Beast sun shell
.500 valve
Corvette servo
Transgo SK4L60E (basic kit)
Gasket kit
Anything else worth installing for 400BHP???

Should I just go with this one or is it worth looking at the year 1994 trans?
The engine is 400BHP / 500 ft-lb, peak rpm of 5,000

Re: Upgrading to a 4L60E, start with yr. 1994 or 1995?

I guess I could put a PWM eliminator kit in the 1995 to make it like the 1994 if I wanted to.
Since the 1995 had Kevlar TCC and the 1994 had paper, I am guessing the Kevlar was a better design. If the 1995 gets the eliminator kit, then do I have to run the older-paper-not-as-good torque converter?

EDIT: Looking at this some more............If I want to eliminate the PWM TCC I can just tune it out so the DC cycle is 100% (full on). What is the purpose of the valve body PWM eliminator kits? Is it for people that don't have tune software? What happens to a PWM torque converter (Kevlar) that no long has PWM? Going without PWM sounds nice for high stall converters and/or less wear on the valve body. But how well does the torque conv. deal with this?

EDIT AGAIN: Interesting that the Transgo HD2 kit has a PWM eliminator in it. Also found all clutch material will work with non-PWM. I think I will stick with this 1995 4L60E and just change the BIN to run the TCC on/off only.
