Hole in Accumulator
Im thinking about rebuilding my old 700R4 just to have around. My question is why did the PO punch a hole in the accumulator? Anybody?

Re: Hole in Accumulator
Before my IROC broke down 7 years ago, the shifts where fine. After 7 years of sitting, I finally got the IROC running but only 1, 3, and reverse worked. I dropped the pan and I found a small shard of metal. Then I noticed the hole. The metal shard wasn't large enough to fit in the hole so I suspect the PO had done the hole. So obviously the hole was already there in the accumulater when I got the IROC as a gift.
