torque arm bolts (need to remove trans..)
Removing my transmission...and can't seem to get the damn torque arm off the tailshaft housing on the transmission, I loosened all the bolts but there is not enough clearance to pull it+the bolts off the tailshaft housing, and the one bolt holding the clamshell together is just going to round off if I keep trying to loosen it...and I don't have clearance to get one my stripped head sockets to it...need some help/advice here...

can you unbolt it from the axle and remove it entirely?

Re: torque arm bolts (need to remove trans..)
if you put a jack under the trans (with something to spread the weight), you should be able to undo the trans crossmember and slowly lower the rear of the trans until you have better access to the tailshaft

Nevermind... apparently the nut I was trying to turn is actually welded onto the bracket...had to turn the bolt from other side, now I just need to pull the TA out of the bushing without anymore creepyass spiders nearly falling on me...thanks though, chances are I'll run into more snags soon enough..

Potato/pill bugs too...pulled one of my brake drums....whole bunch of them fell out...kinda disconcerting, make me wonder if they were eating the metal or something, and the other day I had bricks under the rear tires pulled one out, ton of potato bugs on it but it beats the hell out of ticks.....
