Stupid question on 700r to 700r swap.
Maybe im being a little too cautious. Go ahead and laugh at me but I gotta ask.
I have bought back the 91 Z I sold a while back, but now the tranny is completely shot. I do have a 700r from an 84 Z28 305 HO that works perfect. The 91 is a 350 TPI.
I know ill probably have to swap the speedo gear. Will the 84 tranny work in this 91Z?

Yes, just swap the wiring harness and switches inside the valvebody, and you might want to swap the TV spring and governor as well.
