mite have been talked about b4 but when im on the gas & my trans shifts hard... it sounds/feels like the tail end of my trans is goin 2 come up thru my floor. the rubber torque arm bushing is new and tightened down & my trans is tightened down 2 the crossmember wth a new rubber trans mount, so why is it hiting the floor? any ideas? thnx.

 

i 4got 2 say its a new rebuilt 700r4, and im running a holley carb so my trans aint shifting from the computer telling it when 2. ive bypassed the computer compleetley.

 

I know you said it's a new Rubber trans mount, but it possibly couldn't handle the extra hard shifts. Check the mount again, you may have to go to a poly mount.

 

I've had the same problem after I've done some tuning up (more torque caused it?) its only my 1-2 shift after that its fine I'd like to know if you figure something out

 

thnx guys. ill look @ the mounts agian 2moro. ya its a hopped up 350. not the old wimpy 305.

 

If they check out, I would check your motor mounts too.

 

when i put my trans in i 4got that i still needed 1 of the 2 bushings in the crossmember. my trans mount is good & one of the 2 in the crossmember is good but the other is trash igot distracted & 4got & jst threw it 2gether. i hope putting a new one in will fix my prob. thnx again guys
