New McLeod Clutch Master Cylinder

McLeod Racing has just released a new larger bore adjustable master cylinder for the 1986-2002 Camaro/Firebird and 1997-2004 Corvette. Manufactured by Wilwood Engineering a trusted name in hydraulics for over 30 years, these master cylinders have been manufactured exclusively for McLeod Racing using our stringent specifications for quality you can trust. Each master cylinder kit comes with a large 13/16" bore master cylinder, a application specific mounting flange and a Hi-Flow AN-4 stainless steel braided line with either a roll pin fitting for the TPI/LT-1 cars or a GM male quick disconnect for the LS-X cars

I am curious about that product. Have you try it yet?

What is the different between the old McLeod 139001 and the new one 139305? I notices that both part numbers have the same size 13/16" bore.

I see that summit has one http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MCL-139305/?rtype=10 But does yours have the plastic fluid that came with the MC? I dont see it in the picture you posted.

Where did you get it?

Let me know thanks.

I bought one, but have not installed it as yet, waiting to change my motor and tranny first, the part you see on Summit is discontinued, the plastic fluid resivour did not come with mind, this must be something new.

Yes, I see it discontinued, but why? What is the different between the old one and the new one.

I meant the "reservoir" white plastic box fluid. I notice in the pictures that it comes in "vary parts". So you have the right one. Ignore my message about the reservoir plastic fluid.

Also where did you get it?

Let me know thanks.

Re: New McLeod Clutch Master Cylinder

I went over to McLeods forum to ask some questions as well, I am on there as iroc-z, Billy the guy who runs the forum has a 92 Camaro, and is great about answering question on our Camaro's regarding trannies and clutches

I beleive the the plastic resivour came after, but have posted a question on it, I bought mine from a friend, who have bought one for a customer who changed they mind

Thanks, for the link and Billy said, "is a inaccurate dipiction of what a 139305 is" from summit.

Thanks again, for the information and let me know how you like the new one.
