hey guys im new to this site and i was wondering if i could get some advice with my camaro. i have a 1988 iroc, 5.7 auto, and it jumps when i shift from park to drive, but goes through all other gears fine, rev, neutral, park, 1-4, i checked my trans fluid and it says im at full, im not sure wuts goin on

 

describe "jump". it could be normal. my car use to do that with the stock torque converter. does it jump from park to reverse? is it idled high? probably nothing at all.

 

well the whole moves when i put it into drive, and hold the brake to the floor, i changed the trans fluid and filter , but still no luck, i was told that it could possibly be a broken motor or transmission mount, but im not sure

 

it doesnt idle high, and it doesnt jump from park to reverse, only to drive

 

if the transmission mount is broken you will hear a loud thump when you shift from 1st to 2nd under hard accelaration. if the motor mount is broken your engine would be jumping around. maybe you dont have any back brakes.?
