2-3 shift too fast

Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.73 9 bolt Posi
2-3 shift too fast
Hi Guys,
I did a search but couldn't find any answers. When my 700r4 shifts into 2nd gear, it then shifts too quickly into 3rd gear (maybe a few hundred RPM or so). The tranny is used and I know it has a corvette servo and is suppose to have a shift-kit also (don't know what brand).
Can anyone tell me how I can fix the 2-3 shift so it doesn't shift so quickly into 3rd gear?
Is this a problem with the valve body or maybe the governor?
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I believe I've fixed this problem... I ordered a B&M Transmission Calibration kit (~$46 shipped) which includes various weights and springs for the governor. I then pulled the governor and changed 1 weight & 1 spring (went lighter on both) and the transmission seems a lot better now! It's not perfect yet but its much better.
