i have a 88 iroc with a 350 swapped into it. me and my dad just about redid the whole car and still have a few small pieces to do but anyways we got pretty much everything from the doors up painted and put it body wise. whenever i take the car just down the street to run it a minute or so and i hit the gas from a stop the car takes off like a bat outta hell and idles REALLY high before it shifts which takes more then a few seconds. it tachometer shows it idles up to the 7000 rpm and it looks like it would go further if it could. any ideas on why it does shift before it idles like that?

 

Have you adjusted the TV cable? We are talking about an automatic correct? I'm confused because your sig reads a T5
