I'm in need of a stock T-56 output shaft and tailhousing. It's a 2000 Camaro. The snap ring came off the reverse synchro and things went downhill from there. Good used parts are what I'm looking for since it's for a friend.......

 

D&D use to list $99 take-out shafts, but I don't see them on the web site any longer.. You might have to call to see if any are available.

Most tremec/T56 shops would also be places to check. (Tick, TDP, thegearbox, rsgear, RPM, etc.)

The tail housing might be harder to source used, but the same places would be the best bet other than eBay, craigslist, etc if you want to take your chances..

I believe thegearbox.org will sell you a new tail for right around $180...
