BW 9-bolt pinion nut socket size

Does anyone know what size socket is needed for the pinion nut? I have up to 1" and a 1-1/4". It is somewhere in-between.

Thanks!

If its anything like the ten bolts, its either a 32 or 33mm, i forget exactly, but maybe that will help.
it is aussie, so it may be metric!

Re: BW 9-bolt pinion nut socket size

I put an adjustable wrench over it and it looks about 1-1/16" or 27mm. Can anyone confirm that?

Thanks.

Re: BW 9-bolt pinion nut socket size

Yeah, I was suprised to see my 1-1/4" socket spin around that smaller nut. Unless someone knows for sure what size I need, I will just pick up a 1-1/16 and a 27mm and just return the one I don't use.

Thanks.

I just checked my rear and the 27 mm seems to fit better than the 1-1/16.

Awesome, I'll pick up a 27 mm and give it a try.

Thanks!
