If I leave my car in drive, and floor it, the trans shifts into second gear right away, as the tires are spinning so hard. (With slicks this would be ideal)The car then bogs a bit because it shifted to soon...If on the other hand I manually shift the car it will not shift untill around 7000 RPM, you actually have to let off the gas a bit it seems.....I have adjusted the TV Cable till im blue in the face.....Any ideas??? Could it be the shift governor is messed up..?? Just had it rebuilt not to long ago, the shift is fine, and firm...Band M shift kit, Corvette Servo, 2500 Stall, and Mega Shifter....Thanks for any help on this...

Not sure it's the complete answer, but bet it has something to do with it -- especially the early 1-2 shift. IMO, there's just no way to diagnose 700R4 problems without a pressure gauge, as its proper operation depends upon proper pressures.

How does it shift at part throttle?The gov is strictly for wot shifting.If part throttle isn t early than look into the gov.
