Tremec 5 speed 1988 Camaro
Helping a freind out here
Installing tremec 5 speed from summit. It came with a 5 speed.
trans sit/leans at a angle, trans at the tail housing on the cross member left almost touches the other side up about a inch difference. Does he need a spacer or adapter. Or worst case he got the wrong model trans
thanks

Re: Tremec 5 speed 1988 Camaro
is this a t5 or a tko?
what bellhousing are you using? a straight up pattern one or the stock 18 or so degree angles pattern bellhousing? If its an aftermarket t5, its not made to work in a 3rd gen becuase of the angled installation. You will need a straight up pattern bellhousing, which you will have a hard time finding with the hydraulic slave mount.
IDK if the tailhousing is removable and can be swapped?
