9 bolt rotors stuck?
i'm not 100% sure the calipers are stock but they are the same size as the front ones... which seems to go with pep boy's database... but anyway... I can't seem to get the rotos off... they are fairly worn and i have new ones... the new pads went on the caliper just fine and the rotors look the same but the ones on the car wont come off.. i've already tried a BFH... is there something i need to remove? there is a cap in the center but that doesn't move eather

they are just rusted on.. its going to take some work to get them off.. try some pb blaster at the center and at each lug. let it soak and just keep at hitting them.

I agree soak them with PB-Blaster or similar and then use a ball-peen hammer. Don't hit them to hard you don't want to bend an axle flange. I usually tap them lightly on the edges (not the face of the rotor) and they pop loose. Theres usually some play in them so if you hit them on the edges towards the hub they'll slide eventually and pop loose. If you get a really stuck one you may have to tap it hard on the backside of the rotor.
Any case make sure the car is properly supported before you do anything. Those scissor jacks don't work for crap when you need to hammer on something.
A little bit of anti-seize compound on the backside hub and outside hub of the new rotors works wonders. I've always put some on that way they don't stick as much and you don't have to worry about the aluminum rim sticking to the rotor as much either.
Absolute worse case you could undo the axle retainer bolts (if you can reach them with the rotor on) and take it out the rotor and axle together and submerge them directly in a bucket to soak. I wouldn't recommend it because the splines can be a pain to line up again when you go to reinstall.

I beat the hell out of it! I've never seen a rotor this stuck?? alright then... pb blaster it is, I definitely can't get at the bolts to take the axle out, usually i tap around the bolts and they get loose... bah

Re: 9 bolt rotors stuck?
pb didn't work ether... but with MAPP gas and some patience I got the damn thing off... i covered the flange in bearing grease (after i cleaned it as much as i could) so it'll be easier next time, it seemed to be stuck on the Center not the studs

yeah ive never seen one stuck on studs.. the soaking there helps because as you hit it it soaks down at any area you spray
