91 RS camaro axles help??? please

91 RS camaro trottle body, 305, 5 speed car.. would it have 28 splines axels???

Yes, '90 and later had 28 spline axles.

All late build 1990 models and ALL 1991/92 models have 28 spline axle shafts.

i was wondering i have a 91 rs 3.1 v6 with a 5 speed and around town its fine but when i do over 50 mph it has to be in 5th gear and its stays red line on the rpms i think its geared wrong but im not reay sure if any one could hlep me fix this problem it would help thanks

Sounds like your "tach" is off, like they about always are.

Compare its "indication" to a piece of actual test equipment. I'll bet you'll find it's reading between 2 and 3 times what it should. Not at all uncommon unfortunately. That's how these "tach"s fail.

Meaning, besides the wavy pointer trim piece thing in the dash pointing to unexpected numbers, there's not really anything wrong with your car. Which I guess is a good thing.
