Hi all, i need some serious hlep with the detent cable valve, or i think some call it a throtal valve. I have a 700r4 trans that dose not shift to 3rd, it dident rough shift at all just rondomly went out. i think it is the detent cable valve. the plunger and the spring eind it work just fine, there is a valve behind it that i can only move with a awl. there is also a roll pin that is in a fluid passage on the valve body that is sticking up. i NEED to know if that valve thing on the far end of the plunger needs to move with the rest of the valve or if it suspose to be like that. also if anyone has any idea why it wont shift into third, it goes first, second, than free wheels. thank you all.
