So turns out my trans was acting all whack because the TV cable had snapped, got that fixed and everything is back to normal, just the tranny fluid is kind a black.

The mechanic told that he could check the fluid and if it had a lot of debris in it, it wasn't recommended to change the fluid because the new one could screw the trans.

First time i ever heard that, what do you guys think?

 

Change it.

If there is something that was going to fail, it was going to do so with old fluid too.

 

I think it's time for a rebuild. If not now then later. Just my $.02 though.
