88 caprice 700r4 into 91 camaro
will the 700r4 from a 88 caprice fit into my 91 camaro and wht wuld have to be done to it will i have to change anything like bellhousing or anything

Tailhousing and VSS.
The governor may have low shift points and the valvebody may not give the firmest shifts in the world..

ok so wht about a 88 700r4 from a camaro what weuld i have to change and wuld it be the computer contolled shift or wht? i kno nothin bout transmissions and need to replace mine bad and i got the one from the 88 camaro for $150 and it only has 88k on it

It needs to be from a V8 car for bellhousing pattern.
The speedo drive gear (on the output shaft) can be changed to the one from the '91 trans easily (if it's different; they're either 15 or 17 tooth) and you'd use the VSS from the '91. That's it.
