3600 stall converter, who makes the best
well im looking for a 3600 stall locking converter and im just wondering who makes the best one for the 700r4 and what i should go with. the tranny also already has a shift kit so i was also wondering if you guys thought that with the new converter it was time for a tranny cooler, because i hate dealing with melted clutch packs. thanks guys

I had a Yank SS3600 and it was a fine all around converter. I sold it with my old motor and the new driver says it is not all that much different than his stock one driving around town. I agree with him. That would be my vote. I went to a Yank PT-4000 for something more strip orientated with my new motor.

My B&M stalls at 3500. had the first one for 5 years. and B&M sent me a new one for free. so my money stays with B&M. (rear end broke and took out the sprag in the tranny and the pump lug (on the TQ) the new one is a 9" and is 5lbs lighter then the old one. Verry kewl!
