700r4 clutch tolerance question

I'm working on a 700r4 rebuild. Theforward clutches have .081 play and the 3-4 clutches have .072. I'm using a video to guide me on this rebuild and it says that I should subtract the 3-4 clutch measurement from the forward clutch measurement and that it should be no less than .050.
I also tried putting an extra steel behind the 3-4 clutch pack but that gave me ameasurement of a very tight .013 on the 3-4 clutches.
Anyone here experienced in what to do in this situation?
Thanks

Thanks for the ultra fast shipping on that clutch pack ,Dana. Looks like I'll be ordering a 10 vane pump kit from you since mine was only a 7 vane, and a little rusty too.
