Re: tranny rebuild

What year are you working on? What horsepower are you planning to get here? What torque converter are you planning on use?

Re: tranny rebuild

The tranny is an 82 model. The horsepower should be upwards of 600 at the tires. The convertor in still trying to decide on either a Yank or a precision industries vigilante Someplace around the 3000 stall range. This is gonna be a turbo car

Re: tranny rebuild

You will need to get a 1988 and later unit to start on. This will give you all of the updates and the best chance at getting it to live with the horsepower you are talking about.
