flywheel for t5 swap
ok i have a 1976 350 4bolt main, and ive read a bunch of threads over the swap, im just wondering what flywheel i would need
i read that it has to be year specific ? is this true

You will need the flywheel for 83-85 V8 Camaro/Firebird.
You will find there are 2: a 22 lb one (or thereabouts) used in the bottom-rung LG4, and a 16 lb or so one used in the high-perf models with the L69. You'll probably want the light one.
No other size will fit in the stock BH.
Make sure your block has the inboard starter hole. It is not possible to install ANY starter that will work with that diameter flywheel if that hole is not present. ALL of the "fits both kinds" starters REQUIRE this hole, and will fit ONLY if the hole is present. There IS NO "magic" starter that deviates from this rule. It is easier to have the hole installed now than to believe the people who don't know what they're talking about but tell you what you want to hear anyway, and then you find yourself laying under a fully installed engine that you can't quite use, trying to figure out what to do now. Much more intelligent to take care of it up front.

now all i would need is a flywheel from an 83-85 camaro/firebird, preferably the one from a L69 the 16 Lb one.
