Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 2.73 Open
Indentifying 3.73 Gears
Hello,
I am taking a look at a posi disc rear for my 86 IROC. Rear is a 10 bolt. The gears are aftermarket. How do I identify them as 3.73 ?

3.73 = 41 / 11 = 3.7272727272727272...
41 teeth on the ring, 11 on the pinion
They often are marked that way ont he edge of the ring someplace; will say something like "41:11"
