4 prong wiring connector on drivers side of 700r4

Im assuming this is for the torque converter lockup am i correct? I am going from auto to standard and am trying to eliminate as many wires as possible from my harness so if i can get rid of these too i will.

Also..where are the reverse light wires? Are they connected to the shifter?
