Greasing bearings before install
Quick question; Do you need to grease the bearings on either side of the carrier and on the inside of the pinion shaft before installing everything? I just ask because the housing will be full of gear oil. Will the grease contaminate the gear oil?
Thanks
Thanks

Re: Greasing bearings before install
anybody?
It can't be that big of a secret! I'll make sure i was clear enough.
Before installing everything, do the bearings need to be greased or will the gear oil do the job?
Thanks

gear oil like you said will be fine. lube the seal with gear lube, liquid pipe sealant on the splines of the yoke and you will be good to go
