1 on your clutch and on brake pedal with a vacuum hose on it are 2 sensors for cruise control and the other switch is for brake lights and torque converter lockup

There is one brake light switch (turns the brake lights off then the pedal is not pressed), one cruise control safety switch (disengages the cruise both by breaking its vacuum system and its electrical power when the clutch is pushed), and one clutch safety starting switch (won't let the car start unless the clutch is to the floor)

there are very different switches on different years. For example, the clutch switch (cruise i think) were changed from vaccum to electric in 87. I can send you some pics of the pedal assemblies for differnt years. which year harness do you have?
