Ford 9" axle question

I bought a CJ7 that has a Ford 9" rear end. Its a 31 spline and has the big Ford bearing. The length from Plate to plate where the axles bolt to is 46 1/2" long. Trying to figure out what this might have came out of so I can get axles for it. I guessing, maybe a bronco ? Not sure how to measure for axle lengths. Any Help would be great.

Re: Ford 9" axle question

If it's that narrow, it's possible it came from a Bronco. There's no way to exactly know.

To measure the axles, unbolt them and pull them out. Most 9" diffs have a left and right axle length.
