1995 Firehawk rear axle

I know it is basically just a 93-97 rear axle, but dunno if it has any benefits to it over the "standard" axles.

My reason for asking is this...I have one. I already know about its width wider than the 3rd gen axle, but I am wondering if it has any benefits. Same brakes? Same as 91/92 3rd gens? Differential any better?

Just wondering if I should keep it & get wider rear quarter panels (changing out my wheels is NOT an option. Not stock, and already set out further than stock, but only in from the fender lip edge by maybe 1") or should I just sell it & get a 91/92 rear axle for the better (better than I have now) brakes?
