Hi.

Help please. I am new with this car, my daughter bought it. She hit a pole dead center. I rebuilt front end. Engine runs but would not move. Looking at the trans it appears to have been pushed back and shifted out of line.

Found a trans and was told it was for a 350 engine same year, but the oil lines dont match up.

Am i being misinformed about year of new trans or were the lines different for a 305 vs 350.

Appreciate any help you can give me

 

The lines should be the same.

Most likely, your replacement trans doesn't have the little adapter fittings in it. Take them out of your current one and move them to the other.
